Goodwill Children's Homes

Web Design

"A website redevelopment was an extremely important component of the continued growth and success of our charity.

Since the initial meeting with Tickbox the service we have received has been nothing short of excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and easy to contact throughout the process.

The CMS is brilliant and allows us the control we need to ensure the site is kept current and up to date. The transition from our old website to the re-developed site was seamless thanks to Tickbox and we are so please with the increase in enquiries we have been receiving ever since the launch.  We are thrilled with the new site and our supporters have been extremely complimentary about the development."

The Brief

Children's charity Goodwill Children's Homes wanted to create a new website to increase engagement with their supporters, attract more supporters, raise their profile and support their fundraising efforts.

The charity provides funding to give long term care and education to destitute children in South India.

Our Work

We created a website that allowed the charity to pro-actively engage with its supporters, using bespoke donation tools, social media and engaging case studies to meet the aims of the charity.

With an easy-to-use CMS system behind it, the charity is able to easily and quickly update the site to reflect the work it is doing and keep donors and supporters up to date with how their contributions have directly helped children in India.

Feedback from some of this charities supporters:

"The new website and layout look excellent, such a great improvement from the previous layout."

"Much more modern, attractive and interactive for visiting users, including younger ones like myself. The donate online application on the home page is a great easy addition for those who wish to donate, along with the information regarding the history and current situation of the programme's and homes supported by Goodwill."

"As I can't find anything to suggest adding or changing, I will say no more than great work by all those involved in the redevelopment.”

“I have accessed Goodwill's website as requested, and had no difficulty at all in reaching all the pages.”

“Had a quick look round and it looks really good. Everything anyone would like or need to know and easy to navigate."

“Good clear prose, not too long winded, just enough for people to browse. And great pictures too. Well done. As the newsletters are on there and back copies available hopefully the plan is just to email supporters to alert them to a new edition and thereby save postage.”
