The Brief
Tickbox were contracted by the Hygiene Depot - one of the UK's leading hygiene product suppliers – to manage their Search Engine Marketing, including SEO and Pay-Per-Click campaigns.
The company had been running its own Pay-Per-Click campaign for some time, but wanted to see if it could be run more effectively.
They also wanted to improve their organic SEO for highly competitive and relevant search terms.
Our Work
We worked pro-actively on the Pay-Per-Click campaign - targeting seasonal and topical search terms relevant to the business, fine-tuning existing adverts and creating new ones which we felt would be more effective.
Of course, getting people to click through to your site via adwords or search returns is less than half the battle – once on your site ,these people need to buy. That is why we include consultation on website structure and usability in our online marketing campaigns.
In the case of this client, they already has a well put-together and search engine friendly website, but we were still able to come up with suggestions that improved not only the results in Google, but the user experience – all helping to drive up sales.
The Results
Within six months, we managed to help the company double its online sales without increasing their original AdWords budget by a single penny
The company has also seen improvement across the board in its organic placement in search engines, with all its targeted keywords and phrases bringing page 1 results in Google.
