#LutonHappy was a viral hit

We’re delighted to see the great work being done by our clients getting plenty of recognition this month, with a number of them up for awards.

Museum Makers – a project by Luton Culture – has been shortlisted in the Marketing Campaign category of the Museums and Heritage Awards 2015 for their #LutonHappy campaign.

The quirky video, set to Pharell’s hit Happy, engaged a wide range of supporters and volunteers at Luton’s Wardown Park Museum, as well as members of the wider Luton community to create a real online buzz about the museum and the area.

Museum Makers is co-ordinated via an innovative challenge database web app created by Tickbox, and manages, promotes and develops the supporter base of the museum.

Meanwhile, Taunton Association for the Homeless has been nominated for a Community Champions award, for its work with homeless people in Somerset.

The charity has helped hundreds of homeless people to get back on their feet and rebuild their lives.

You can vote for the charity at the Magnet Trade Community Champions website.

Away from our charity clients, nationally-acclaimed Indian restaurant Mint and Mustard is a finalist in the Cardiff Life Awards.

As the restaurant’s marketing partners, we’ll be joining them at their table for the prestigious award ceremony on March 19th. It’s the second year in a row they have been up for this award, and we’re supporting Cardiff Life as award sponsors.

It’s been a great year for the restaurant, with new premises opening in Weston-super-Mare and Penarth, the re-launch of their Chai St Indian street food cafe, and recognition in the national media as one of the best Indian restaurants in the UK.

And Tickbox MD Claire Sully has got in on the act. Her short play, Mr Wild, has been selected to be performed by theater group Show of Strength as part of Trading Local Wells. The play will be performed on March 21st, 10.30am – 4.30pm at Wells Cinema.
