Tickbox Making Training Engaging Tech

BEMA homepage

Tickbox has worked in the training and education sector for over 12 years. We work with a number of training provider networks across the region and directly with individual training companies.

Our latest training provider client is BEMA.   BEMA, the British Engineering Manufacturers’ Association, was founded in 1936.  They are the largest engineering trade association in the South West of England. BEMA have set up a training college to help members recruit and train apprentices and to combat the shortfall in trained, qualified engineers.

Martin Wear, Engineering Centre Manager at Swatpro Academy and BEMA said:

“Working with Tickbox has been a pleasure they are professional and have been extremely helpful in supporting us through the whole process. They have a wealth of experience to ensure we launched the website that is right for our business at this time.

“Tickbox have a proactive approach that delivers a website within the project timeframe. We look forward to continuing this relationship in keeping the website current and up-to-date.”

The BEMA website uses Tickbox’s own Hummingbird Training Platform.  This is an easy to use training provider “Content Management System” with a courses / apprenticeships plug-in, members / partners directory, media centre, Search Engine Optimization tools and blog. Hummingbird is a tech platform for showcasing the success and impact of training on stakeholders, learners and employers.

Tickbox provide ongoing tech maintenance, including web audits, upgrades/updates and engaging content for the blog.

Tickbox Manging Director Claire Sully said: “The key to our success in the training sector, we believe, is that we listen, understand, plan, measure and learn. It is an everchanging, challenging, but inspiring sector and we are quick to adapt our tech and services.  We see ourselves as a creative and strategic partner, working closely with our training specialist client’s internal teams and partner providers. Quite simply we feel part of the team!”
